The Yamaha FG7 RX Natural is a premium electro-acoustic western-style guitar in dreadnought size, featuring Yamaha’s renowned build quality: it is, in fact, manufactured in Japan. Thanks to its solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X-bracing and reinforced back, it delivers powerful projection with excellent definition – ideal if, as a singer-songwriter, you want your vocals to sit beautifully ‘on top’ of the guitar. The solid Indian rosewood sides and back ensure full bass tones and richly layered harmonics. Finished with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, plus a bone nut and saddle for clear, balanced sustain.

Naturally amplified and with a refined finish

Even when plugged in, the FG7 RX retains a strikingly authentic sound thanks to the Atmosfeel™ pickup system. This combines a piezo (low), a microphone (low/mid) and a contact sensor (high) for a natural, highly detailed sound, without your tone sounding ‘piezo-like’. The rounded V-profile mahogany neck plays comfortably and smoothly thanks to the semi-gloss finish, whilst the Gotoh open-gear tuners in cosmo black ensure stable tuning. Subtle Japanese design accents – such as the washi label and elegant inlays – add extra character. Includes a sturdy hardshell case, soundhole cover, Allen key and certificate.
