General
The Jackson RR5FR Rhoads BLK is the black version of the one and only Randy Rhoads guitar. Rhoads was a guitarist who played with Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot, and this guitar is a good representation of that as it produces a rough and tight sound. The familiar asymmetrical alder body, black aluminium control plate, sharp headstock and comfortable Speed Neck with shark fin inlays give this guitar its beautiful, tough-looking design. The reliable construction and high-quality components provide you with an impressive, tight sound.
The construction of the RR5FR Rhoads
The set-in neck runs through the body and produces a powerful, solid tone with lots of sustain which really stands out thanks to two Duncan Design humbuckers that have a high output and a large dynamic range. Each pickup has its own volume control and they share a tone control. The Floyd Rose system on this guitar is the most popular tremolo system in the world. The main advantage of this bridge system is that your guitar remains perfectly tuned. Even after intensive playing the tones will be in perfect harmony.
Jackson Guitars
The renowned American brand Jackson Guitars was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson. Jackson guitars have an elegant design, a sharp headstock, shark fin position markers and a powerful sound which is perfect for metal and hard rock. The Pro Series features many of the specifications of the handmade USA series, but comes at a much more affordable price.
