Zoom's ARQ AR-48 Aero Rhythm Track offers a great new way to make electronic music. It's a versatile all-in-one instrument with a unique design that can be easily used in the studio or for live performances. You can upload your own samples and make use of 460 different drum, instrument and vocal sounds. The Aero Rhythm Track can be used as a synthesizer, a drum machine, a sequencer or a MIDI controller and it's equipped with USB, MIDI and stereo connectors.

The control centre is divided into four sections: Sound, Sequence, Rec/Play and Effect. In the Sound section there are 460 adjustable sounds and a synth with three sub oscillators. The parameters are easy to adjust and the LCD display gives you a clear overview. You can save up to 384 patterns and 99 songs in the sequencer and using the LED buttons on the 32-step looper you can make and adjust patterns in real time. You can save and playback songs using the Rec/Play section and in the Effect section you'll find 16 effects including reverb, high and low pass filters, delay and bit crush.
Complete control
With the Ring Controller you can add a personal touch to your music. It's equipped with 16 pressure-sensitive pads with programmable LEDs that can be used to play instrument sounds and trigger samples or recorded sequences. There's a 3-axis accelerometer built-in too which means you can use movement to trigger effects like delay or reverb. You can even assign the effect you want an axis to trigger. There are dedicated controls for things like solo, mute, split, arpeggiate and effects changes to keep things easy. If you want to control things wirelessly, you'll need to add the optional BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter.
