General
Analogue Solutions' Nyborg-12 is an analogue monophonic synthesizer that has a compact, robust, retro-style housing made of steel and aluminium. Its voice and modulation circuits give it an authentic retro sound. Apart from the MIDI to CV circuit which inevitably has digital elements, everything else on this synth is fully analogue. The Nyborg-12 is built by hand in England and is based on classic '70s designs.
Nyborg-12
This analogue synth was designed by a musician who is a big fan of electronic music and, as such, everything has been carefully considered and put together with practicality in mind. All of the sounds and effects that are most commonly used are easily accessible. Thick bass notes, synth leads and percussive effects are just the tip of iceberg when it comes to possibilities. If you want to add even more sounds, the Nyborg-12 can be easily combined with its stable mate, the Nyborg-24.
More features
The Nyborg-12 has 2 VCOs on board as well as a low-frequency oscillator with triangle and square waves and the mode switch can be used to control the VCF and VCOs. There's also 12 dB multi-mode filter just like the one found on the legendary Telemark that was very similar to the one on the old Oberheim SEM. The VCA can be set to bypass which means you can leave it on essentially turning the Nyborg-12 into a true effects processor.
