The Mesa Boogie TriAxis programmable tube preamp is a true encyclopedia of Mesa Boogie sounds containing everything from the Mark I, the Mark IIC, the Mark IV and more. From the hyper clean of the Mark IV to the red hot Boogie lead that we know from idols such as James Hetfield, John Petrucci and Vernon Reid, it's all here. Even if you're looking for a more British sound, you'll find that too. All that and this tube preamp is still only the height of a single rack unit. That's a lot of muscle in a compact size!

The sound of the TriAxis is fully analogue.

You can save 90 of your favourite settings in 128 MIDI program locations, and to get you started Mesa Boogie have included 20 presets. Ten of these demonstrate the SmartPower voicing options when used in combination with a Mesa Boogie power amp like the 2:Ninety or 2:Fifty. However, this guitar preamp sounds fantastic when used with any power amp. The Mesa Boogie TriAxis has five 12AX7 tubes and a digital circuit that is designed to serve the analogue sounds.

Dynamic Voice replaces graphic EQ

All of the control knobs have been replaced by buttons underneath red displays that can still be seen even on a dark stage. The graphic equalizer found on Mesa Boogie's combos and amp heads have been integrated into a Dynamic Voice on the TriAxis. The FX loop is programmable as well, and the software in the TriAxis also ensures that MIDI Continuous Control Messages can be passed. All of the parameters on the TriAxis can be controlled at the same time using the optional MIDI pedal board or expression pedal. With the TriAxis you can get any sound you want, from hyperclean to screaming leads.
