General
An undisputable, straight-up metal guitar, the X-shaped rendition of the Star-model has been immensely popular since its inception. Now part of the affordable X-Series, this is the Jackson Warrior WRX24. And while it does come at a more attainable price, this model still bears the supreme quality of a neck-through-construction, where the maple neck has been shot through the lightweight poplar body - enhancing the stability, perfecting the balance, and boosting the sustain. The compound fretboard radius seamlessly progresses from 12 to 16 inches, supporting a snug and controlled feel closer to the headstock and a light and nimble feel closer to the body as your fret-hand is guided by a set of Jackson-signature Pearloid Sharkfin position markers. Meanwhile, the fierce sonic character and tight definition of this model is carved out by a set of two Jackson High Output pickups, and a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge and matching locking nut lay down concrete tuning stability.
