Innox Basic Line Rack 4U-23 flight case doubledoor 4U, 23 cm

I bought an Innox Basic Line Rack 4U-23 Double-Door Flight Case, 3U, 23cm a year ago, and although it is a very basic flight case (you may have to do some modding) it does the job without adding too much weight to the Soundcraft Ui24R I bought it for.
I've just upgraded my PA and decided to buy another one for the new Midas stage box. It may seem strange to buy such a basic flight case for an expensive bit of kit, but the original one has provided sterling service and why spend more when you don't need to.

De case zelf is wel oke, beetje zwaar, maar ook stevig.
Binnen in is het andere koek : maar aan 1 kant reels, zodat je niet via 2 kanten kan inbouwen. Die rails zijn ook noch eens slapen amateuristisch gekozen: een geboord gat om de moeten door te voeren en geen , zoals normaal, strip met reeds bevestigde moeten, jammer, maar daarom waardeloze case

prima flightcase voor deze (instap)prijs. Zeer geschikt voor mijn 19"drummodule en aanverwante apparatuur. Het racksysteem is niet te vergelijken met de duurdere cases en vraagt wat handigheid en geduld maar voldoet prima.

Fijne flightcase, maar de bijgeleverde boutjes zijn te dun voor de meeste apparatuur. En heel onhandig zit er aan de achterkant geen montage strip voor 19".

If you're going to buy one or more of these you need to be good at DIY to get them to work for you. I bought one because it was cheap, because I knew that would mean it would be relatively lightweight. I am 67 with arthritis, so heavy isn't good for me! It only need to survive being put in the back of my car, taken out at the venue then the same in reverse, so I don't need them to be bomb proof, if you need bomb proof look elsewhere and pay more. Issues are: 1) The handle is plastic held on by four 13mm screws so the case may well fall off at any moment leaving you just holding the handle, so you need to replace it with a decent metal handle held on with proper nuts and bolts or rivets. 2) The front rail system for holding the amps or whatever was designed by an idiot i) the nuts are not captive so can just spin when you try to tighten the bolts ii) the bolts are too short to reach the nuts so you need to put a strip of cardboard under the nuts to lift them high enough so the bolts can engage and be screwed into them iii) the bolt heads are too small so they just go through the fixing holes in the amps or whatever (in my case a pair of Crown XLSs), so you need some washers to prevent them falling through 3) the feet are right on the edge, so the slightest lateral movement and they will fall off the rack case below. This presumably has been done to transmit the load up the side walls, but trust me (I'm a material scientist and engineer) you can move them 3cm inboard without any problem. Bearing in mind you only have to sort all of this out once and then it's done, they are not a bad buy for less than £50, but if your DIY phobic they are not for you.

Au vu des prix démentiels des racks de studio pour mon bureau, j'ai décidé de partir vers 2 de ces racks Innox et concrètement on en a pour son argent.

Pour être honnête, ces racks visiblement faits pour être trimballés partout sont très cheap. De l'extérieur ils sont plutôt joli et costauds mais c'est à l'intérieur que ça se corse.

On a 2 rails de chaque côté dans lesquels ont vient y mettre des écrous (donc flottants de haut en bas) et dans lesquels viennent les vis de serrages de vos équipements. Pour cela on a une mauvaise mousse fournie à insérer dans ces rails qui est... de piètre qualité !

Les rails tiennent par 2 rivets plutôt petits et avec mes préamps assez lourds j'ai eu plutôt peur à première vue :D !

De plus ces rails sont vraiment pas top, ils ne vont pas jusqu'aux extrémités de haut en bas, ce qui fait que les écrous qui se baladent dedans peuvent tomber à tout moment s'ils ne sont pas utilisés et on ne peut les insérer que par un seu lendroit au niveau du rail... Quand à l'installation de ces écrous et vis vu leur taille : une plaie...

Bref, je dirais que si vous voulez vous en servir pour des équipements légers et qui resteront fixes dedans, ça fait le job. Dès lors que vous voulez changer leur contenu souvent et y mettre du costaud dedans ou faire des régies live constamment avec --> Passez sur plus cher.
