Diving a bit deeper than most modules, the Joranalogue Orbit 3 produces noise based on the principles of chaos theory. Departing from the design of your average noise module, which might deliver noise in a range of different flavours (think white noise, brown noise and pink noise), the Orbit 3 doesn't just spout noise like a tap, but defined noise that's moulded to shape via a number of parameters. This is where the chaos theory comes in: the subtle fluctuation of just a couple of parameters leading to dramatically different results. In other words: this module spits controllable noise, making it a bit more like a noise-designer rather than just any bog-standard, off-the-shelf noise generator.
