The Rode RODEGrip is a practical multifunctional holder for your Apple iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. It can be used as a handheld pistol grip, as a desktop stand or as a way of mounting your iPhone to a microphone stand, boom arm, video or DSLR camera. This is all thanks to the integrated shoe mount with 3/8-inch screw thread. The RODEGrip is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). This highly robust synthetic material is used in the construction industry, among other things.
RODEGrip: applications
The Rode RODEGrip can be folded into a compact unit, allowing you to easily transport it. Thanks to the holder, you can use your iPhone for a variety of applications, like audio recordings in combination with the Rode iXY stereo microphone or as a handheld pistol grip for stable film recordings with your iPhone. Via the hot shoe mount you can mount your iPhone directly onto your DSLR or video camera, so that it can be used for audio recordings in combination with the Rode iXY or as a display for photography apps.
