The Candy Apple Red Fender American Special Stratocaster HSS (including Deluxe gig bag) is the standard Stratocaster, made in the U.S., for a slightly lower price. This 'Fat Strat' has a rosewood fretboard and of course a humbucker/single-coil pickup configuration. All American Special Strats have a pleasantly resonant, lightweight alder body and a maple neck, with a urethane finish that ensures an optimal resonance and smooth playability.

An American Special Stratocaster with Texas Specials

The famous Texas Specials on the Special Stratocaster HSS produce the coveted Texas Blues sound: defined basses, distinct mids and clear trebles. The Atomic humbucker accounts for the rougher-type sounds, excellently suited for modern metal and rock music. The jumbo frets allow you to make effortless bends. Additionally, the Grease Bucket circuit filters out the trebles, without adding bass, when you use the tone knobs.
