The B1220 PRO speaker was designed to be used in professional performances from small clubs to large stages. It can produce up to 1,200 watts of power, and the ingenious design of the B1220 PRO makes it either a great-sounding PA speaker for front-of-house or a reliable floor monitor.
In order to produce a tight, deep bass, a subwoofer has to move a lot of air. Eurolive Professional speakers do this via a powerful long-excursion LF (low-frequency) driver set that is made by hand in Behringer's own factory. The B1220 PRO is equipped with a powerful 12-inch-long excursion LF driver in a tailored housing for a rich, tight bass that reaches all the way to 55 Hz. You can be sure of getting the kind of bass your can hear and feel.
High frequency (HF) sound can easily make or break your performance. Too much, and the sound is harsh and irritating. Too little, and it sounds muddy and poorly defined. The Eurolive Professional's 1.75-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver ensures a natural-sounding high end, with its broad 100x50-degree sound dispersion patterns. The horn can be rotated (50x100 degrees), whereby the B1220 PRO can be transformed into an exceptional floor monitor.
The unique housing profile of the B1220 PRO makes multiple configurations possible - from 10 or 35-degree clusters and stacks to stand mounting with a built-in 35mm pole socket, to positioning as a floor monitor, it would seem this speaker can do it all! Furthermore, the B1220 PRO can produce extreme sound pressure levels (95 dB full space 1 W @ 1 m) and ensures a frequency range of 55 Hz to 18 kHz. Built-in overload protection circuits provide optimal HF driver protection.
