Dit kleine, ogenschijnlijk onschuldige Y-vormige wonderstukje technologie maakt van één koptelefoonpoort ineens een vredesonderhandeling met twee winnaars. Twee koptelefoons. Tegelijk. Zonder ruzie. Zonder dat iemand hoeft te delen. Kapitalisme op z’n best.
De installatie is simpel. Je steekt hem erin. Klaar. Geen app. Geen handleiding van 47 pagina’s. Geen firmware-update. Geen account aanmaken. Apple en Google kunnen hier nog iets van leren.
De geluidskwaliteit? Verrassend goed. Geen blikkerig geluid, geen mysterieuze kraakjes alsof er ergens een radioamateur mee luistert. Gewoon muziek. Aan beide kanten. Alsof dat normaal is.
Is het levenveranderend? Nee.
Is het relatie-reddend? Absoluut.
Is het een beetje belachelijk dat dit niet standaard bij elk apparaat zit? 100%.
Nadelen?
– Je moet nu wél toegeven dat je samen luistert.
– Je kunt niet meer doen alsof je “niets hoort” als de ander iets zegt.
– Je zult je afvragen hoe je ooit zonder hebt geleefd.

Deze splitter doet precies wat hij belooft. En dat is tegenwoordig al bijna verdacht. Een klein stukje plastic met groot emotioneel rendement. Aanrader voor koppels, vrienden, lange treinreizen en iedereen die zijn koptelefoon niet als machtsmiddel wil gebruiken.

Doet wat ik ervan verwacht had. Ge ruik hem in combinatie met een vroadcast statief om makkelijk op hoogte in te stellen. Bijgeleverde XLR kabel is wel aan de korte kant.

Ik heb er inmiddels 3 van in gebruik (ben lui en heb een hekel aan ompluggen) Voor deze prijs een prima hoofdtelefoon en doet wat ie moet doen. Natuurlijk zijn er betere maar dan moet je ook dieper in de buidel tasten. Laag weergave is aangenaam zonder te wollig te worden, heeft een lekkere punch. Het lange snoer is fijn om mee te werken, ik heb zo geen verlengkabels nodigs. Bij het maken van een eindmix durf ik behoorlijk op deze hoofdtelefoon te vertrouwen. En dat voor die paar tientjes.

Als bassist zat ik flink te hannessen met headsets en Inears. Het laag is vaak net te weinig en t midden overheerst . Gokje genomen met de Devine, en zowaar heerlijk geluid! Ik hoor de kick, snare en mn bas (MM Stingray) perfect,. Ik heb mn studio headset gevonden voor een heerlijk lage prijs. Nu nog goede IEM scoren :-)

Dit is mijn eerste studio koptelefoon, dus ik heb geen vergelijkingsmateriaal. Ik vind het geluid goed en ik vind het design ook mooi, vooral het lange snoer. Eén klein minpuntje tot nu toe: de koptelefoon is niet groot genoeg, waardoor mijn oorlellen snel pijn gaan doen. Maar de prijs is verrassend laag, dus over het algemeen ben ik tevreden.
