General
With the CDP-130 SR Silver, Casio proves that a decent, comprehensive digital piano doesn't have to be expensive. Whether you're taking your first piano lessons, are looking for a suitable instrument for your kid, or play now and again just for fun, this silver-coloured instrument meets all your basic needs. The piano has a full-size piano keyboard with 88 keys and comes with a sustain pedal, so you're able to play real piano pieces without any trouble. A realistic piano sound and hammer-response keys that feel heavier as you near the lower tones complete the piano experience.
The sounds of the CDP-130
A keyboard with an authentic feel and a life-like piano tone are all well and good, but what if you’re tired of hearing the same old sound over and over again? No worries - the CDP-130 offers a set of additional sounds for you to choose from, including harpsichord, strings and organ. Thanks to a Layer function, you can even use two sounds at the same time! There's plenty of room for experimenting too, as reverb and chorus effects add more depth and spaciousness to your sound. Would you like to give the CDP-130 SR a fixed place in your living room? You can with the separately available CS-44 P stand.
Additional features
Naturally, this Casio digital piano's volume can be set to various levels. If you prefer to practise without others listening in, however, you can simply plug a pair of headphones into the piano. Other practical features of the CDP-130 SR include a built-in metronome (great for honing your rhythm skills!) and transpose buttons that enable you to play any piece at any pitch. A USB MIDI connector, finally, allows for MIDI data exchange between the piano and your PC or Mac, so you can record and play back your own performance using a DAW like Cubase.
