Fans of the Slö Multi Texture Reverb and the ARP-87 Multi-Function Delay are given a solid two-for-one in the Slärp, where both uber-inspiring Walrus Audio effects join forces in one formidable, space-warping stompbox. A full set of pots and switches for steering the reverb have been laid out on the left, while a complete delay cockpit has been planted on the right. So you're getting the standard-issue Sustain switch that you got with the Slö and the tap-tempo switch that came with the ARP-87, as well as bypass switches for both effects.

The Walrus Audio Slärp: Three Reverb Algorithms + Four Delay Modes

The reverb side is set up with the same Dark, Rise and Dream algorithms as the Slö, and these can be mashed up at will with one of four ARP-87 delay modes: Analog, Digital, Lo-fi or Slapback. The reverb and delay X-pots are tweaked to adjust the corresponding parameter of the mode selected per side, and on the ARP-87 side, the delay time can be cranked up to maximum of 1,000 milliseconds to spit tasty echoes and rhythmic tricks, while the modulated flavour of the Slö side can be dialled up to throw everything into a wide and ambient soundscape. This dual stompbox basically doubles the fun, doubles the quality and pretty much quadruples the potential.
