General

Go from big to massive with the Allen & Heath GX4816! This 96kHz audio expander for SQ, Avantis and dLive mixing systems adds 48 preamp-loaded XLR inputs, independent phantom power LED indicators and 16 XLR outputs to your studio set-up. What's more, the GX4816 features two DX ports so you could theoretically connect up to four DX Expanders in total. The second DX port can also be used to hook up an ME personal monitoring system, and a single CAT5e cable is all it takes to link the unit up with the SLink port of your SQ, Avantis or dLive. To finish, while the Allen & Heath GX4816 comes in a manageable, 5U 19" form so it can be mounted in a rack or flight case with ease, it can just as easily be placed on the floor or a desk thanks to a set of anti-slip rubber feet.
