Built-in shock mount and pop filter

The PL 44's capsule is mounted in an internal shock mount, which helps to avoid handling noise. Moreover, this capsule is also protected by a foam pop filter to avoid those pesky plosives, even when the mic is touching your lips. It's also protected against moisture with an extra foam layer.
