This set combines a compact GLX-D4 receiver, a GLX-D1 bodypack transmitter and a WL185 lavalier microphone. The system uses the 2.4GHz frequency band and automatically selects the best frequency, so you won't have to deal with interference.

Shure GLX-D4 receiver

Shure's GLXD4 is a digital receiver that boasts a number of practical, state-of-the-art features. Take the LINKFREQ system, for instance, which automatically (and continuously) searches for an available frequency. Should any interference occur during your performance, it will scan the frequency bands and make real-time channel adjustments. Meanwhile, a clear, well-organised display tells you all you need to know about the used frequency and the remaining battery life of your GLXD1 bodypack transmitter. If you like, you can even use the GLX-D4 receiver to adjust your transmitter's gain.

Shure GLX-D1 transmitter and WL 185 lavalier microphone

The Shure WL185 is an electret condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern. As the microphone mainly registers sound within a 130-degree radius, feedback won't be a problem for you. Simply aim the mic in the right direction using the included tie clip, en connect it directly to the Shure GLX-D1 bodypack transmitter. The latter is equipped with a powerful lithium-ion battery that allows you to perform or present for up to sixteen consecutive hours. Have you forgotten to charge the battery? No need to panic - a quick, 15-minute charging session provides it with enough juice to keep going for another hour and a half.
