The renegade Teenage Engineering TX-6 Field Mixer plants a mixer, audio interface, DJ mixer, and a whole lot more directly in the palm of your grubby little hand. In fact, this neat slice of gear is so multifaceted, slotting it into any category is a struggle. It definitely looks like a mixer, and can definitely mix - up to six stereo channels in fact - and next to that, it's no bigger than your smartphone.

Deployed as an audio interface, the TX-6 provides no-less-than twelve inputs (32 bit, 48kHz) and supports MFi for iOS. Naturally, the inputs are the left and right ports of the six 3.5mm mini-jack stereo ports, but in the interface world - that counts up to twelve. And that's not everything. This unit even has a modest synthesizer and sequencer built in; offers a bank of eight effects, including reverb, chorus, delay, freeze, tape, filter and distortion. And if you want more, why not set up the TX-6 to serve as a DJ mixer? Channel 1 becomes your crossfader, while channels 5 and 6 control the left and right decks. Of course, if that's not your thing, then you can simply use it as a wireless controller for BLE devices. A genuine all-rounder, and a genuine Field Mixer on top, the TX-6 comes wrapped up in tight Teenage Engineering style aesthetics and as a sweet perk, can run for up to eight hours on the internal rechargeable battery.
