General

The extensive 18-channel Presonus StudioLive AR16c mixer and recorder comes wrapped in a rugged and compact casing built for mobile or fixed home studios in need of an audio powerhouse! Musicians and content creators alike will be able to add some hyper-modern touches to their mix using the built-in high-definition USB audio interface, 18 channels, a Super Channel with Bluetooth interface, extremely high-end XMAX microphone preamplifiers, and more. Each channel is supported by level, pan, mute, PFL solo, high-pass filter, and three-band semi-parametric EW controls. This extensive mixing desk also provides devoted monitor busses, control room outputs and a headphone output with its own volume control.

The Presonus StudioLive AR16c: Full-featured Audio Interface

Record and mix audio in true high-definition with sample rates of up to 96kHz. Record up to 18 input signals simultaneously in addition to the main mix and get an incredibly broad array of mixing options. Via USB, four audio-streams can be played back: an essential function that can be used to monitor recorded tracks, plus sound effects, loopback audio, and many other options. The XMAX microphone preamplifiers ensure you'll always have the right gain level and a distortion free signal and Presonus have even had the presence of mind to include a USB-C cable with the StudioLive AR16c for eased connection to pretty much any computer.

Super Channel

Besides the built-in audio interface, the AR16c comes with what Presonus term a 'Super Channel'. This channel can take up to four simultaneous stereo inputs, offering space to integrate multiple devices into the workflow of your studio. Here, you can hook up a turntable using the RCA inputs; a phone using the mini-jack AUX input or simply stream wireless audio by pairing up with the 5.0 Bluetooth interface. One button switches the playback from stereo-audio from your PC to the onboard SD recorder and back again so that bumpers and sound-effects can be effortlessly injected into a podcast in real-time or you can rehearse along with your best recordings. The Presonus StudioLive AR16c even comes with a copy of Presonus Capture live recording software included.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Great desk, in a great form factor. Everything looks and feels quality. The software bundled with the desk is great. This is the perfect home studio, practice room desk and could be the solution for many applications given the price point. Extremely happy with the product

Ik vond de FX enorm karig en niet lekker klinken. De XLR ingangen zijn standaard 12+ db versterkt waardoor ik het volume op de iPad enorm omlaag moet halen om nog in een normale range te zitten qua gain.

Al met al zal het vast een prima product zijn, echter viel hij mij zwaar tegen. Wellicht dat ik andere verwachtingen had van deze mengpaneel.

Leuke mixer met goede kwaliteit muziek
ik gebruik deze niet met de interne SD card opname maar met windows 10 laptop
Het is wel zo dat regelmatig de usb verbinding zomaar wegvalt
alleen met de power off/power on van de mixer ziet hij de laptop weer
kan niet vinden waar dit aan ligt en is super vervelend

Ik maak al een aantal maanden gebruik van Presonus Studio One 5 Artist en dat bevalt mij goed. Ik heb dit DAW software pakket met verschillende audio interfaces van andere fabrikanten uitgeprobeerd maar de resultaten waren het net niet. Dus toen maar besloten een Presonus product aan te schaffen en ik heb uiteindelijk voor de StudioLive AR16C gekozen. Gisteren besteld en vandaag geleverd, bedankt Bax Music. De doos was wel al open geweest en de plasticzak om de mixer was al open geweest maar de rest was zichtbaar nog niet gebruikt geweest. Direct aangesloten en het e.e.a. getest. Presonus Studio One gestart en de mixer wordt meteen herkend. Even de inputs/outputs matrixen ingesteld en het werkt meteen naar behoren. Ook het Capture programma onder Windows 10 doet het geweldig. Maar waar ik helemaal blij van werd is het feit dat deze mixer zonder problemen met een iPad Pro met IOS14 werkt. Dit was bij een eerdere test met een Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK niet mogelijk met IOS14. Deze werkte namelijk alleen nog met een oude iPad met een oudere IOS versie. Dus ik ben op dit moment helemaal blij met de aankoop en ik hoop dat de StudioLive AR16C nog lang zonder defecten mag werken.
