General

The StudioLive AR12 USB mixer by Presonus offers you eight mono and four stereo channels. The former takes XLR or jack connectors while the first two also feature a special instrument switch. You can also connect an external effects processor to the insert input on the first two channels. You can record all these channels via USB using Capture and Studio One 3 Artist DAW software that you can download after purchase.

Made for musicians

The StudioLive AR12 gives you complete control, and was designed for musicians by musicians. You can record tracks and save them on your computer or record the master mix on an SD card for editing later on. You can also playback music from an SD card for music between sets.

With or without cables

The Presonus is equipped with a Super Channel for connecting and operating RCA, AUX and Bluetooth devices per channel. The stereo channels have a 3-band EQ while the mono channels have a 4-band EQ, the middle setting being the most comprehensive. Using the buttons underneath, you can control the two monitor groups and an external effects bank, all three of which have their own master volume. Each channel has a low cut, gain and balance, all of which are also adjustable.

Ik gebruik hem voor mijn drive-in show, geweldig mooie schuivendoos, de opnamefunctie gebruik ik om gast-zangers op te nemen, zeer mooi opnamegeluid, verder eenvoudige bediening en voelt degelijk aan, ruime mogelijkheden en met de bijgeleverde software is het een eitje om je laptop te koppelen. Ik heb meerdere producten van Presonus bij Bax gekocht en ben gewoon fan van het merk. Presonus blue is made for you!

Dit product is niet voor niets nu even niet leverbaar.. Ik denk dat het populair product is want het is een supermachine die precies doet wat je verwacht of wil. Aansluiten op je laptop/compu (in mijn geval laptop mac met logic x) en gewoon gaan. Ik heb de dag na aanschaf met band opnames (met drums) gemaakt zonder de handleiding te lezen. Heldere bediening, ook de monitoren bijv: gewoon niet teveel knoppen, de juiste.

Opnames klinken strak, super, geen ruis/brom, goede di voor bas en gitaar. Enthousiaste bandleden "wauw dat klink gaaf". En live is het een perfect apparaat zonder teveel fratsen, pfl-en, afstellen en gaan. Degelijke behuizing. Voor mij de ideale studio en live mixer voor mijn bandjes.
