General

The Mackie ProFX10v3 is a pro-grade, 10-channel effects mixer fitted with a USB interface for PC recording. Equipped with the high-performance GigFX Engine, this Mackie mixer packs 24 different, internal effects. With 4 microphone channels and 3 stereo channels with 3-band EQ, you're given every essential tool to create professional mixes. The ProFX10v3 is fitted with 4 Onyx Mic Preamps that supply the 4 mic channels with +48V phantom power, and there are Hi-Z switches on-board for guitars, basses and other instruments. In addition to phantom power, each mic channel has a 100 Hz low-cut filter that takes any interfering lows out of the signal.

Fitted with Onyx Mic Preamps & Compression

Every one of the microphone inputs of every mixer included in the Mackie ProFX v3 Series is regulated by the renowned Onyx Mic preamplifiers. These not only ensure the highest possible, studio-level audio quality and performance but provide consistently clean signal with an incredible amount of headroom and crystal clear sound, even from the most gain-hungry studio microphones. In combination with the Single-Knob Compression, input levels are kept in check while the maximum possible headroom per channel can be found with a simple adjustment. On top of this, it might go without saying that a touch of pro-level compression will polish any vocal performance whether live, recorded, spoken or sung.
