Back in 1982, Squier released their very first affordable iteration of the icon that is the Stratocaster. Now a legend in its own right, this is the very special Squier Vintage Edition 40th Anniversary Stratocaster. The solid body has been contoured in all the right places, giving the classic shape a snug and familiar feel, while the satin-gloss lacquer and aged, chrome-plated hardware complete the tasty picture, and effortless playing comfort is supplied by a C-profile, vintage-tinted maple neck complete with twenty-one narrow-tall frets.

The 40th Anniversary Stratocaster Vintage Edition: The Flair of a Classic Strat

Squire have polished off the vibe of this special edition Strat with a fitting anodised aluminium pickguard and a set of three Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups specially developed to wield renowned tonal flexibility framed by just enough sparkle, just enough emphasis on the overtones, and a light mid-range dip to support tasty, Strat-style spank and growl. Add on the Vintage Style Synchronised tremolo bridge for the necessary vibrato effects and dive bombs, and you're set up with a more-than-solid playing partner.
