Adorned with sumptuous details and made using high-quality parts, the Squier 40th Anniversary Stratocaster Gold Edition has been designed to celebrate forty years of Squier-by-Fender. While most of the Squier models released since the take-over in 1982 have been affordable, entry-level guitars, the Stratocaster Gold Edition is definitely part of a higher tier, making it a great addition to the collection of any Squier-and-or-Fender devotee.

The 40th Anniversary Stratocaster Gold Edition: A Beauty to Behold

As its name suggests, this shimmering Strat dons gold-plated hardware as well as a gold scratch plate made of anodised aluminium. To complete its special aesthetic design, Squier have fitted a large '70s-style headstock and a bound laurel fretboard finished with pearloid block position markers, while the signature Strat-sound of this commemorative electric guitar is taken care of by a solid nyatoh body armed with three Fender-Designed Alnico 5 single-coil pickups.
