This '60s Jazzmaster Modified from Fender's Vintera series is an electric guitar with an offset body. It's a model that's available at a more attractive price than the American version due to the fact that it's made in Fender's factory in Ensenada, Mexico. Everything about it, from the look to the sound to the feel, is as close to the genuine '60s model as you can get. What's more, you also get all the advantages of having a brand new electric guitar made using modern methods to ensure excellent stability.

Vintera 60s Jazzmaster Modified: modern neck and hot single-coils

This guitar is a joy to play thanks to the bolt-on, maple neck with modern C profile, the flatter 9.5-inch fretboard radius and 21 medium jumbo frets. Two vintage-style '60s single-coil hot Jazzmaster pickups ensure the amplified sound has that little bit extra and with the comprehensive controls, that include separate ones for the lead and rhythm circuits, you'll have a full range of classic sounds to play with.

Mon appréciation est tout à fait personnelle: je souhaitais faire enfin l'acquisition d'une Fender Jazzmaster. Le modèle Player avec ses 2 humbuckers ne m'intéressant pas, je me suis rabattu sur ce modèle Vintera modified aux caractéristiques modernes (notamment concernant le manche). Pour faire simple, même si la prise en mains a été instantanée (le principal pour moi), je n'ai pas aimé ce modèle - réglage du truss rod nécessitant de défaire le manche, touche Pau ferro, tremolo, chevalet adjusto Matic, housse légère pour un modèle à plus de 1000€, tout ceci ne me convenait pas. Mais ça pourrait ne pas déranger d'autres acheteurs évidemment. Surtout que j'ai trouvé les micros vraiment bons. Pour ma part, je vais laisser tomber la gamme Vintera qui m'a toujours déçu et passer à un modèle US ou attendre la remise en vente de la Squier Mascis. Quoiqu'il en soit, merci à Bax pour le retour sans problème.
