The SKB 3i case 305x229x114mm DT is a compact, extremely robust hard case from the iSeries, designed for the safe transport and storage of sensitive equipment. Thanks to its gasket-sealed construction, it is water- and dust-tight and even submersible in accordance with MIL-STD 810H. This makes this case ideal for electronics and A/V equipment that you take with you in varying conditions. The case is injection-moulded and made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, making it not only sturdy but also highly resistant to impact and corrosion.

Built for rugged use on the move

SKB builds these iSeries cases with an eye for detail: for example, this model features a moulded-in hinge and the well-known Trigger Latch® System for a reliable seal. The case is designed to withstand corrosion and impact damage and is also (MIL-STD 810H) resistant to UV, solvents and mould. Another handy feature: the automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve (MIL-STD 810H) helps to compensate for pressure differences, which is useful when travelling or at different altitudes. This model has no built-in wheels or castors, so it remains nice and compact.

Handy size, versatile use

With internal dimensions of 30.48 cm long, 22.86 cm wide and 11.43 cm deep, it can hold a surprising amount without you having to lug a large case around. Think of small interfaces, microphone sets, measuring equipment, adaptors or other accessories that you want to keep tidy and protected. What’s more, this case is temperature-resistant from -56.11 °C to 82.22 °C, providing extra peace of mind when storing it in colder environments or transporting it in warmer conditions.
