The Pioneer DDJ-SX-W digital DJ controller has been developed in cooperation with Serato. Consequently, every function of the powerful Serato DJ software has a matching, physical control or button on the Pioneer controller. This DJ controller is ideal for DJs who work with software, but like the hands-on feel of playing with vinyl and CDs. The DDJ-SX-W is the white edition, which provides a great match for your other white DJ gear, so you can create a stylish DJ booth.

The ultimate controller
With the DDJ-SX-W controller you can control four decks in your software. It is also equipped with four physical mixer channels, so apart from your software decks, you can connect your turntables and CD players as well. All individual channels as well as the master channel are fitted with LED indicators that allow you to read the volume levels, so you can easily adjust the various channels to each other. The mixer can also be used as a stand-alone mixer, which makes this controller even more versatile. By means of the sixteen performance pads you can trigger loops, set hotcues, control various effects and start samples. The pads are touch-sensitive, which means the volume of the played samples is determined by the pressure you exert on the pads. Serato DJ is known for its scratching options. That is why this DJ controller is fitted with two large, low-latency jog wheels. In other words, there is only a very short time delay between touching the jog wheel and the signal transmission to the software, so the controller has a very direct feel. It's as if you are scratching with real vinyl! The controller offers a wide range of visual tools. It features illuminated pads, LEDs for volume, a Jog display in the centre of the jog wheel that displays the status of the playing track and many other tools that facilitate playing in dark clubs. The DDJ-SX-W is equipped with a search strip as well, which enables you to search and work in a needle-drop way.

Serato DJ software
Serato DJ is a new software package and Pioneer have the honour to develop the first hardware that goes with it. One of the most distinctive features is the controller's four-deck support, which is represented by the channel selection per deck (1-3 and 2-4 selection) and the four channels of the mixer section. It turns the combination of Serato DJ and the DDJ-SW into an esteemed competitor for the popular Traktor software package. The mixer section offers a load button per channel for direct uploading of tracks, as well as a three-band EQ, LED VU meter, cue button and LPF/HPF filter, which are already familiar with from the DJM-250 and other Pioneer mixers.
