Numark's DJ2GO2 Touch has everything needed to scratch with Serato and is a super-compact controller that can easily slotted inside your backpack. Even its capacitive jog-wheels can used for scratching, making it the perfect back-up controller for less extensive or luggage-light sets. It have been slimmed down to include only the bare necessities, it gives more comprehensive competitors a solid run for their money when it comes to quality and comes at a much better price.

The Numark DJ2GO2 Touch DJ Controller: Minimalistic but Complete

In addition to the jogwheels, the DJ2GO2 Touch features song navigation, a crossfader, two channels with a jog wheel each, a pitch fader and a volume control. Both channels have four trigger pads, sync, cue and play buttons; essentially all you need needed to deliver a solid performance. As said, this DJ controller has been well thought out to keep its size to a minimum without losing out on any of the quality and user comfort we've come to expect from Numark.

Software and Services

The DJ2GO2 Touch comes complete with Serato DJ Lite for Mac and PC, including demo music for beginners and a tutorial that covers the basics. It also gives you direct access to a treasure trove of music from giant streaming services like SoundClound and Tidal. Using MIDI mapping, it's possible to use other standard DJ software as well and because the DJ2GO2 Touch now boasts Algoriddem DJay support, the software can even be controlled from your iOS device now via the separately sold Apple Camera Connection Kit. The cherry on top is a free two-month trial of SoundSwitch's digital light workstation services.
