This robust cabinet has four 12-inch Celestion Vintage 30 speakers and an extra-large cabinet for an extremely full sound with plenty of headroom, ultra-heavy bass tones, tight mids, and clear trebles. The ENGL E412XXLB has a cool dark look that matches the ENGL Powerball II, Fireball 100 and Special Edition amp heads.
Features of the ENGL E412XXLB
The deep sound of the ENGL E412 XXL PRO Straight is due to the fact it's 9 cm higher and 2 cm deeper than a normal 4x12 Pro speaker cabinet. What's more, the housing is made of high-quality Siberian birch plywood for a more direct XXL sound! The baffle, which is where the speakers are suspended, is at a slight angle for better audio dispersion and a better monitor sound on stage. The ENGL E412XXLB can be used mono as well as stereo and can handle up to 240 watts at 8 ohms and 2x 120 watts at 2x 16 ohms.
Looks and transport
ENGL’s characteristic metal grille offers protection and gives the cabinet an attractive appearance as well. This version has a black vinyl finish that contrasts well with the flashy chrome ENGL logo. To transport the ENGL E412XXL PRO Straight speaker cabinet, there are large handles on either side. Even though the speaker weighs 57 kilograms, it's easy to manage thanks to the four sturdy castor wheels underneath!
