The ENGL E412SGB Standard Straight is a slightly more affordable version of all the performance you'd get with a classic ENGL 4x12 PRO speaker cabinet. Loaded with four 12-inch Celestion V60 speakers that have been based on the original design of the Celestion Vintage 30, this cab produces contemporary sound with full bass response, scooped mids and sweet trebles.
ENGL E412SGB: Construction and Power
This straight model E412SG speaker cabinet is part of the ENGL Standard Series and is built to form part of a stack and sit proudly beneath an ENGL amplifier head. The cabinet housing is constructed using solid press wood while the speakers are suspended in a baffle made of Siberian birch for more sound pressure and a tighter low-end. The E412SG Standard Straight can deliver up to 240 Watts in mono at 8 Ohms or 2x 120 Watts in Stereo at 2x 16 Ohms.
Looks and Transport
ENGL’s characteristic front-mounted metal grille not only offers protection but gives this cab a mean, solid look. The E412SGB has been cloaked in black vinyl and finished with a polished chrome ENGL logo. Large handles are fitted either side of this 41kg cab and the base is fitted with sturdy castor wheels.
