General
The popular Palladium amplifiers by DAP Audio have proven their reliability, safeness and power many times over. By releasing the Black Series Palladium, the brand offers a choice between the vintage silver or more modern black look. This black P-700's specs are identical to those of its silver counterpart. It still offers a powerful stereo power of 2x 240 watts at 8 ohms or 2x 360 watts at 4 ohms. In 8-ohm bridged mode, this can run up to no less than 720 watts. Enough power to operate a set of small full-range satellite speakers or a smaller subwoofer in fixed as well as mobile PA systems. The P-700 is also ideal for vocal installations in bands!
Ins and outs of the P-700 Black Series
The P-700 thanks its reliability and safe usage to its built-in protection mechanisms. These consist of a protection against short-circuiting, overheating and overloading and a clip limiter. LED lights at the front, next to the two volume controls and on/off button, provide information about these functions. At the rear of the DAP Audio P-700 you will find a TRS input and XLR per channel. You can also choose to connect your speakers via the plug-and-play lockable speaker connector or with two wire clamps for fixed installations.
The proven quality of the Palladium amplifier
Who is not familiar with the DAP Audio Palladium series? Many have grown up around them, many have started their musical career with them and are still working with them. Just like the silver-coloured Vintage Series, the Palladium Black Series consists of seven amplifiers, varying in power from 400 watts to a whopping 2,000 watts! They all have proven quality and an extremely attractive price in common. All of this comes in a compact 2U, 19-inch rack size.
