Steinberg Cubase Pro 8 EE Crossgrade de Pro Tools

There are quite a few specialised educational institutions that use Pro Tools. But what if you wanted to switch to Cubase Pro 8, instead? Well, you can, and Steinberg just launched a special promotion to help you do just that. With an official Pro Tools license, you can now buy a crossgrade to Cubase Pro 8 EE (educational edition) for a reduced price. How does it work?

This offer applies to the following products: Pro Tools HD/HDX, versions 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, as well as Pro Tools Native versions 9, 10, 11 and 12. While a crossgrade for the regular version of Cubase Pro 8 is also available, this EE version is the way to go for educational purposes. You can only claim a single crossgrade, and you can do so at Bax-shop - Steinberg's own web store does not participate in this special offer. You will have some time to think things through, though, as this promotion lasts through December 2015.

What do you have to do to participate?

First of all, you'll need to provide proof that you have a valid Pro Tools license by supplying a copy of the invoice or receipt of the purchase, or a copy of the license card. If you're interested in the educational version, you'll have to provide the appropriate educational eligibility proof, just like you did when you invested in the educational version of Pro Tools. Next, you can download this form, fill it out and send it to sales@bax-shop.co.uk. We will then check your application, after which (if everything is in order) your purchase will be processed.
