General

The Ibanez AU Series AUC10E concert ukulele features a chambered body that's been carved out of solid paulownia and has a dual side sound port system for enhanced projection and self-monitoring as well as an Elevated Comfort armrest, an Edgeless Comfort heel and a bevelled cutaway that combine to push the playing comfort through the rood. The paulownia body comes topped with a spruce soundboard for a rich yet balanced foundation sound.

The AUC10E: Built-in Preamp

Ibanez has fitted out this electro-acoustic concert ukulele with an AEQ-2U preamp and an undersaddle pickup, plus an integrated tuner and 2-band EQ controls for dialling in the amplified sound. The AUC-profile okoume neck has been finished with a 15.75-inch-radiussed purpleheart fretboard to support supple strumming, while the double-hole bridge eases restrings, increases the tuning stability and does away with the need to tie knots. The Ibanez AUC10E comes complete with a matching gig bag.
