General

While the XO 1602-SLTR Light Reversed Bb trumpet bears many of the same features as the other models included in the XO1602 range, the overall design is around 10% lighter, improving comfort. The bell has been hand-hammered from silver-plated brass, comes wire-reinforced and has a 127 millimetre diameter, while the mouthpiece receiver has been made from silver alloy and the reverse lead pipe has been made from silver-plated gold brass. Finished with a finger hook, a thumb support and an extra ring at the 3rd valve, this trumpet boasts excellent handling, and the valves have all been made from monel: a corrosion resistant alloy. For an added touch of refinement, some details have enhanced by gold plating.

The Personal Touch

This beautifully finished trumpet comes complete with a strong case alongside plenty of extras. As such, the playing feel of this instrument can be fully customised using the extra set of supple valve springs; metal finger caps; brass valve guides; and set of lightly heavier valve caps; as well as the included round tuning slide.
