General

This 7.5mm-thick, 16-inch floor tom is part of the Pearl Masters Custom series and is made of 6 plies of birch. Birch creates a warm, clear tone that emphasizes low and high tones. Those who are familiar with the Masters Custom BCX Lava Bubinga shell set will know that this is the perfect addition to that kit.

Pearl Masters Custom BCX1616F floor tom: SST-technology

Pearl creates shells according to their now legendary SST Shell Design. This uses extreme heat, precision cutting, Pearl's own Acoustiglue and hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber. The result is a shell with superior tonal qualities, optimal resonance and extreme durability. This gorgeous Masters Custom BCX 16 x 16-inch floor tom is fitted with chrome hardware.
