This 32-Ohm version of the Beyerdynamic DT990 headphones is specifically compatible with:

The higher-impedance models (250-Ohms and 600-Ohms) don't produce enough volume when used in combination with any of the devices listed above. The 250-Ohm version is mainly designed for use with hi-fi amplifiers and other fixed-installation audio gear with ample headphone power output, while the 600-Ohm version is intended for use with extra-powerful headphone amplifiers. 

This set of professional-grade headphones are made for high-quality casual listening or studio use. The Beyerdynamic DT 990 Editions are a set of Hi-Fi headphones built using exceptional materials. The DT 990s will drench pop, rock, R&B and indie lovers in intense bass and distinctively defined high frequencies. The open construction adds such a wide, spacious dimension to the overall sound that shapes the same experience to listening to a good set of speakers. The DT 990 Edition headphones may come with a very similar list of technical specifications as the DT 990 Pros but the physical the design has been tweaked. The headband is softer for improved comfort throughout prolonged listening sessions while the headband of the Pros sits a little tighter so that they don't shift during more energetic takes in the studio. Since this is the 32Ohm version of these headphones, they can be comfortably used with most current devices including smart phones, tablets, laptops and etc.

Mijn huidige koptelefoon 'Beats by Dr. Dre pro' begint een beetje af te takelen, behalve het geluid dat nog steeds super goed is, in allerlei soorten muziek. Nu zoek ik ter vervanging een koptelefoon met dezelfde geluidskwaliteiten. Daar kan de Beyerdynamic helaas echt niet aan tippen. De Beyerdynamic zit heel comfortabel, maar daar blijft het dan ook bij. Dus heb ik het meteen weer retour gestuurd en ga verder op zoek naar een koptelefoon met minstens dezelfde geluidskwaliteit als mijn huidige 'Beats by Dr. Dre pro'.
Ik geef de Beyerdynamic nog wel drie sterren want hij zit heel comfortabel.
De levering door Bax Music is gewoon goed.

Geweldig fijn hoofdtelefoon zowel comfortabel en het luisteren . Alles komt tot zijn recht.
Van diepere tonen tot laag, zowel zang en instrumentaal.
De DT990 is een aanrader voor zo'n aanschaf prijs, in het kort GEWELDIG !

Ongelooflijk fijne hoofdtelefoon zowel comfort als het luisteren en mooie vormgeving .Dit alles voor een kleine prijs !!
Zeer detail rijke en een holografische open afbeelding van het geluid (zeker niet verwacht) Het laag is zeer indrukwekkend diep en met zeer veel ruimte weergegeven (soms griezelig echt) .Het hoog is mild (let wel ik gebruik ook Sonarworks) diep, zeer detailrijk. Mid is ook fantastisch (akoestisch gitaar of handklappen ), ik luister veel instrumentaal (wereld muziek),Jazz,Trance en ambient .
Ik kom van een nog als nieuw zijnde Beyerdynamic DT 931 nu 32 Jaar oud destijds "High End "maar die term word al vrij snel gebruikt .Als deze net zo lang meegaat dan is de prijs kwaliteit verhouding 140%.
Geef overigens de hoofdtelefoon wel de kans ,even door luisteren en genieten hij groeit !!!
Ook zou eens de 600 Ohm willen proberen .
De kabel is niet afneembaar (lekker belangrijk )de kabel (niet het snoer ) gaat decennia's mee ( bij gewoon gebruik )comfort is geloof ik het beste wat er is op dit moment ,dat was het in 1990 al .
Dat de hoofdtelefoon veel vermogen vraagt, is wel een ding ondanks de 32Ohm ,maar op de Sam S9 Note gaat het ook " nog " prima .(thuis dan )

Ik heb deze aangeschaft als 2de koptelefoon voor buitengebruik aangeschaft. Mijn eerste indruk is dat het geluid warmer en diepere tonen weergeeft vergeleken met mijn Superlux HD668b. Ook is hij comfortabeler en fijner om langdurig te dragen.
Echter vind ik een niet afneembare snoer niet ideaal, dus dit kan wellicht in de toekomst een probleem leveren als de snoer breekt.
Wat ik wel uitstekend vind is de levering van Bax. 's Avonds besteld en gelijk volgende dag de koptelefoon ontvangen, dus goeie bezorgingsservice jongens!

Ik had hem gekocht om te mixen en te masteren. Maar het geluidsniveau viel tegen. Ondanks de 32 ohm versie kreeg ik het geluid niet hard genoeg. Eerst zonder een audio interface gebruikt dus direct aangesloten op mijn laptop en later met een interface geprobeerd. Maar helaas weinig verschil gemerkt.

Pluspunten:
- Ondanks zijn lage geluidsniveau is alles goed hoorbaar.
- Prima hoge tonen (eigen mening).

Minpunten:
- De lage frequenties zijn wat meer op de achtergrond.
- Openback design dus het geluid is voor omstanders ook hoorbaar.

Ik heb deze hoofdtelefoon special gekocht in de 32 Ohm versie om te kunnen mixen op mijn iPad Pro. De geluidskwaliteit is prima: elk detail is hoorbaar.

Uitstekende hoofdtelefoon die heel licht is om te dragen (290 gr) en toch degelijk gebouwd is. Goede weergave van zowel hoge als lage tonen zonder dat je de druk voelt op je oren en ze gaan luid genoeg zonder vervorming.



Het snoer is een 'gewoon' snoer (inclusief verloopstukje) dus geen gekruld snoer (is wel het geval bij de Pro-modellen). De lengte is 3 meter wat zeker lang genoeg is. Ideaal zou een afneembaar snoer zijn maar dat is niet het geval.



Dit is de 32 Ohm-versie die uiterst geschikt is voor gebruik bij audiobronnen met een 'zwakke' versterker zoals smartphones en laptops. In de verpakking zit er ook nog een opbergtas bij zodat je de hoofdtelefoon netjes kan opbergen (of meenemen).



Zelf heb ik ook nog een Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro 250 Ohm die ik in mijn thuisstudio gebruik en aansluit op een Mackie mixing desk. 250 Ohm is 'te zwaar' voor een smartphone of laptop (werkt wel maar het volume zal niet zo luid zijn. Zelfde kwaliteit dus ik wist wel wat ik kon verwachten. Een uitstekende hoofdtelefoon zonder 'bling bling'. Duitse degelijkheid dus.
