Designed with DJs in mind, this turntable features a direct-drive system so no time is wasted, plus a built-in preamp so you can hook up your speakers directly. The L-3828 also comes fitted with backlit controls for eased use in the dark, a strobe light, and adjustable pitch (-10% to +10%) for accurate, manual beat-matching, and Lenco has also integrated a USB interface so you can digitise your records. De Platenspeler is niet wat ik er van had verwacht, Het kost heel erg veel moeite om de balans van de arm te vinden.
Ik krijg het tegengewicht niet op de juiste positie, de lift is erg kort (slechts enkele millimeters), hierdoor komt de arm niet van de plaat af. Ook de geadviseerde software van Audacity waarmee je de USB functie kan gebruiken is niet fijn. Het kost al veel tijd om deze te installeren. Uiteindelijk is dit wel gelukt. Ik kan ook mijn opgenomen platen op mijn laptop terugvinden, maar kan de nummers niet afzonderlijk isoleren. Dat was juist mijn bedoeling om per LP de muziek apart te bewaren. Op zich heeft de Lenco wel een goed geluid, maar dat is voor mij een schrale troost.

Ik ben niet zo tevreden over deze platenspeler. Het contragewicht is bijzonder moeilijk in te stellen. De armlift blijft daardoor altijd op de plaat staan. Alleen door handmatig te ''liften" kan de naald van de grammofoonplaat. Ook het installeren van de software voor het opnemen met de USB functie is niet eenvoudig. De bijbehorende beschrijving is niet duidelijk. Na urenlang You-tube te hebben bekeken,is de installering gelukt. Opnemen gaat nu wel, maar hoe opgenomen nummers te isoleren heb ik nog niet kunnen ontdekken. Verder is het een mooi uitziende platenspeler.
