Even with all that, you'll have plenty of room left for the Xkey - but don't let it's small size deceive you into thinking it's lacking important features. With its 25 velocity-sensitive keys and the required octave controls, you can play to your heart's content. Also of note is the polyphonic aftertouch, which is a feature that's not often found even on full-sized MIDI keyboards.

Of course, the Xkey is also equipped with pressure-sensitive pitch bend and modulation, and even a sustain control. Despite its elaborate array of features, it's very easy to use: simply connect the Xkey to your desktop or laptop with the included USB cable. Whether you're using iOS, Mac OSX or Windows doesn't matter, as the Xkey is compatible with all of them. Updating the Xkey firmware is also done via the USB cable.
