The Behringer SD8 digital stage box is equipped with 8 Midas microphone preamplifiers that can be controlled from a distance. What's more, it features 8 balanced XLR outputs and an integrated 2-port Ultranet distribution hub so you can connect your monitor mixer directly without the need for additional hardware.

Possibilities

The SD8 is compact and has sturdy, shockproof bumpers. What's more, you only need a single Cat 5E cable per stage box. When using the SD8 in a complete X32 system, you can hook up three SD8 stage boxes via the AES50 connectivity feature. The SD8 even has a USB port for downloading system updates from your computer or laptop. Above all, the SD8 is so easy to use, it's practically child's play!

Zeer degelijk gebouwd.

Werkt zeer goed met de x32 serie,
met voldoende uitgangen en zeer makkelijk qua aansluiten op een x32.
Enkel spijtig dat deze niet via tablet bedienbaar is alleen.
Zeker een aanrader voor deze prijs.

Aanvankelijk vroeg ik me af of dit zijn prijs waard zou zijn, maar na 3 maanden gebruik zeg ik zeker weten! het scheelt zo enorm veel tijd met op en afbouwen op ieder evenement met dit ding. gooi m ergens onder een tafel of achter een gitaarversterker, plug alles erin en trek één kabel naar je X32. bam klaar!

plus en minpunten:
+ compact
+ stevig! dit ding is gebouwd als een tank! de behuizing is van aluminium en er zitten rubberen bumpers omheen.
+ gecombineerde JACK/XLR ingangen alles past hierop!
+ ingebouwde HI-Z ingangen, dus geen DI-box meer nodig voor je elektrische gitaar.
+ ultranet poorten voor P16-M's zodat de artiesten zelf hun monitor mix kunnen aanpassen.
- USB is alleen voor firmware update. ik had graag gezien dat hij standalone of als X-AIR te gebruiken was met bijvoorbeeld X32-edit over USB. Nu is hij alleen te gebruiken ICM een X32 of S16
- channel-selector knop een beetje onhandig geplaatst. dit is voor als je een 2e box eraan gooit dan moet de 2e op +8 staan en de 3e op +16 zodat ze op de X32 oplopend genummerd worden. echter dit zit op zo'n plek dat hij op transport nagenoeg altijd in een andere modus terecht komt.
