This size surdo is widely used in the Brazilian province of Bahia and is unprecedentedly popular in samba-reggae music. Meinl has composed the shell from 6 layers of high-quality hardwood. The result is a warm-sounding surdo with a full sound.
Meinl Bahia surdo: universally applicable
