Sushi? That's right, Sushi! It stands for: Sunlite Universal Smart Handy Interface. SUSHI! For any aspiring light jockey who wants to become proficient in DMX software, the SUSHI-DS is their ideal companion. The SUSHI-DS provides access to four different kinds of DMX software, namely: Sunlite, Dashligt, Lumidesk Lite and Easy Stand Alone. You can start programming your first light show right away!
Entry-level software
As mentioned before, the SUSHI-DS is developed for the beginner light jockey. It offers the possibility to make and save light shows, which you can then play back or adjust on the fly. Create enormous fans of light to accompany a DJ's build-up, or to set a singer in the spotlight. Anything is possible with the SUSHI-DS, which plugs directly into your laptop!
Stand-alone
A great benefit of the SUSHI-DS is that it can be used as a stand-alone device. With the included software, you can save up to 1,266 steps on 12 DMX channels on the interface. This means you don't even need a laptop or a computer to control your lighting. Simply connect the SUSHI-DS to your DMX lighting and, with the push of a button on the housing, it will play back your pre-programmed scenes. The SUSHI-DS gives you complete control over your lighting!

Ik gebruik deze i.c.m. Light Rider en ik vind het top. Via Light Rider kan ik als leek alles gemakkelijk aansturen en het is plug en play. Ik stuur hiermee 4x movinghead, 1x Ayra Armageddon, 5x Ayra flash 30, 2x led par aan en dit gaat prima.

Op zich werkt de Sushi-DS goed , maar licenties voor hun software zijn vrij prijzig voor een occasionele gebruiker. En jammer genoeg is er voor andere (onder andere vrije) software geen driver beschikbaar. Dus de interface is enkel bruikbaar met hun eigen software. Dit wist ik jammer genoeg niet op voorhand. Ik werk nu met Dashlight 2, maar hierin is de functie om besturing te doen op de BPM van afgespeelde muziek te beperkt.

Ik heb de Sushi-Ds DMX interface besteld om eenvoudig wat rgb pars aan te sturen.
De software Easy stand alone bied voldoende mogelijkheden om een eenvoudige setup te maken en verschillende scenes af te kunnen spelen.
In eerste instantie werkte de hardware niet. Maar door even goed te lezen en de aanwijzingen op te volgen was het vrij eenvoudig om de firmware te upgraden zodat deze door de software wordt herkend.
Hierna wees het vanzelf. Ik denk dat het lastig is om er enorme lichtshows mee op te zetten maar voor een paar lampjes werkt het prima.
Ik heb via de service van DMXsoft een vraag gesteld, deze werd vlot en naar tevredenheid beantwoord.

Software is 10 keer zo duur als het product zelf, en behoorlijk waardeloos. Bedrijf achter dit product stelt zich niet open op naar andere software makers, zie thread 8925 op het forum van qlcplus
In de 1 maand proeftijd van daslight4 was het op zich wel aan de praat te krijgen (op mac), maar voor mij is 100,- per jaar voor de software betalen van de gekken.

Fait son travail correctement sans problème, j'utilise daslight dvc1 pour piloter ma discomobile de 6 lyres, 10 projecteurs et 2 lasers.

Werkt perfect met lumidesk en alle nieuwe sets zijn te vinden voor dit product.
en anders is er een lookalike voor. Je met wel online zijn om hem te activeren en voor een betaalde licentie kan je weer meer mee aansturen, Maar als je beperkt blijft tot 128 adressen is het een goed product..

This item is NOT compatible with iPad software including Lightrider. It does work with Windows and Android devices. Activation is required online and using the supplied application. Lacks documentation, but guides are available on YouTube. Overall, good value, but with limitations. iPad users should instead consider ADJ MyDMX Go.

Pas dd notice pour le driver mais on le retrouve sur le site pour ma part j'utilise daslight car pas de tuto français pour sunlight 2004,sinon l'interface elle fonctionne très bien et réagis correctement pour le prix comparé a des interfaces a 400eu il y a pas besoin de se ruiner et livraison rapide merci bax music

DMXSoft is handig voor het gebruik van weinig lampen, De bijgeleverde Software is oud en krijg ik op moment van schrijven nog niet bruikbaar. Na een trial met Dashlight 4 pas de interface aan de praat gekregen in pc/live mode. Verder is er niks tot weinig aan documentatie te vinden op het internet.
