Some time ago, HK Audio first issued the LUCAS system, a set of two compact satellite speakers and one subwoofer that houses all the amps and electronics. A great thought, as the satellites go up on a stand (where light weight is definitely a plus) while the sub stays down on the floor (so let's just keep all the heavy bits in there).

The first LUCAS was a grand success and instantly made HK Audio a household name. Over the years, HK hugely invested in their R&D department and production line and it paid off: a completely new series of LUCAS systems was born. At that time, cheap Chinese copies hit the market, and though they looked the same, they really missed the mark regarding ingenuity and quality.

Naturally, the third generation of HK Audio's Lucas systems quickly found their way to Bax shop! They feature digital amplifiers, neodymium speakers and are processor-driven. Moreover, these speakers feature a safety circuit (with PTCs and pilot light) to enhance reliability without compromising their sound.

The Smart Lucas system is a prime example. It may be the smallest set from the series but it still packs quite a punch. Thanks to its excellent build quality and materials, you can be sure an HK Audio set will last you for years.
