Too many power peaks and surges can be disastrous for electrical devices. That also applies to your 19 inch audio equipment. For that reason, ART Pro Audio have developed the PB4x4 Power Base, which protects your gear from harmful electric surges and power peaks. The PB4x4 is also equipped with built-in RFI and EMI filters that reduce electromagnetic and radio interference. As such, it is a very quiet device, which is great for live PA systems, fixed sound installations, DJ equipment or for your professional or home studio.
PB4x4: 1800 Watt power distribution unit for 8 devices
The PB 4x4 also functions as a high-grade power distribution unit with no less than eight outputs. With its total power capacity of 1800 Watt, it can safely provide your rack equipment with power. There is no more need to work with separate power sockets and extension cables. Loose, long power cables in your flight case are a thing of the past. The front of the PB 4x4 is fitted with an illuminated on/off switch and a reset switch for the built-in 15 Amp circuit breaker. The BP 4x4 has a fully steel chassis and takes up only one unit of space in your 19 inch rack.

Tja , ik zocht iets om mijn versterker rack te beveiligen tegen overspanning en piekstromen...... Dan kom je met dit apparaat wel een beetje bedrogen uit! Drie varistors tussen fase en nul, als die er uit klappen blijft de spanning(lees overspanning) gewoon op je apparatuur staan. Emi filter. wederom teleurstelling, simpel condensatortje tussen fase en nul. daarnaast niet eens afvoer naar aarde waar de piek-/overspanning naar toe kan. Kortom dit apparaat helpt absoluut niet ter beveiliging van je dure apparaten! Niet eens een indicatie lampje dat de overspanning is opgetreden. Je bent goedkoper en zelfs beter af met een stekerblok inclusief overspanning beveiliging van de bouwmarkt! Ik zeg leuke verdeelbak met acht aansluitingen, het is niks meer of minder dan een 1HE rackvulling.
Dit apparaat heeft helemaal geen fatsoenlijke RFI en EMI filters.
slechts 1 condensator tussen fase en nul, niet eens een afvoer naar aarde.
De stroompiek onderdrukking is simpeler dan in goedkope bliksembeveiliging apparaatjes zit.
Niet eens echte gasbuisjes, maar slechts gewone varistors die ook in iedere geschakelde voeding voorkomen en alleen tussen fase en nul.
Dit apparaat is simpel en doeltreffend! Dit apparaat hoort gewoon in elke rack thuis, het zou je maar gebeuren dat je apparatuur kapot gaat door een stroompiek (heb ik dus meegemaakt!). Absoluut een aanrader om te kopen, en voor die prijs is je rack beschermd!

Pracht machine. Ik heb het aangekocht omdat we met carnaval meededen en de aggregraat geen mooi Spanning leverde. Dit is natuurlijk schadelijk voor Boxen, Elektronica. Eens tussengesloten mooie vaste 230V spanning, prachtig en zeker voor het geld!

Très bon article, pratique pour mon rack 2u avec ma console Presonus Studiolive 16R.
Jai pris ce stabilisateur de courant pour protéger mon matos et éliminer les bruits indésirables.
En plus la finition alu brossée noir est du plus bel effet ça fait pro ;)
