Essentially offering everything that the HZ40 does, the more-convenient Optoma HZ40ST short-throw projector does something special. Normally, you'd have to have a lot of space available to get a broad, sublime projection with a cinema-worthy diagonal of say, 7.66 metres, but the HZ40ST can be placed just one metre back from the projection screen or wall and will still deliver a wide, 100-inch diagonal projection (which comes to around 2.5 metres). This is already way more image than you'd get with even the biggest flatscreen TVs that cost a couple of thousand pounds. As such, this smart projector can simply be set up on a side table in the living room so you can enjoy films, sports, gaming, and even 3D imaging (if you have the gear), all shaped by the immense contrast of DLP image quality.
