General
The SMS226 from Applied Research & Technology (ART) is a speaker management system that splits a stereo signal into six independently adjustable signals so that you can specifically dictate what is fed to each speaker in your club, pub, cafe or theatre. The device is navigated via a clear LCD screen but can also be connected to a computer via USB and operated using the included configuration software.
For the Perfect Control: SMS 226 from ART
The six outputs can be setup in a 2x2, 2x2 + sub, 2x3, 1x4, 1x5 of 1x6 configuration while the stereo signal is monitored and regulated by the graphic EQ, RMS compressor, noise gate and phase controls. You also have the controls needed to suppress any feedback and to add sub-harmonics. When using a mono signal, you have the option to add crossover filters, delay, parametric EQ, a limiter, level and phase control. The optimal EQ is also dialed in via the Auto-EQ function which is calibrated according to the space by using an APEX 220 microphone (available seperately).
Clear Overview
Each of the parameters can be monitored and easily adjusted via the front panel of the SMS226. The USB socket for PC connection is also fitted on the front so you can have a constant overview of your speaker system on your desktop. This also makes any software updates and preset backups a simple job.
