General
Plug your microphone directly into the FetHead in-line preamp by Triton Audio to enhance your signal by an additional 27 dB. It's ideal for dynamic and ribbon microphones, which often have a lower output level than other mics. Your recordings will sound better and more focused because the noise level has been lowered significantly. The FetHead's robust construction makes it suitable for use on stage as well as in the studio. Its internal circuitry shields the microphone's input and output when phantom power is activated, which protects mics that don't accept phantom power, such as ribbon microphones.

I purchased this to work with my SM7B and it does what it says on the tin which is increase the output of the Mic. However I ended up returning it because my apogee duet provided the same gain as the fethead with the same noise levels. So before you consider this for your setup, you might already have enough gain and this becomes superfluous.

After watching numerous videos I made the decision to purchase the Fethead to help improve my audio. Its a Superb product. I hadnt expected it to make such a difference. It made my mic setup way more powerful, allowing me to get the same volume at about 50% of the volume it was at before. Much cleaner audio as a result. Well packaged and fairly swift delivery too. Highly recommended.

Like most people, I use this with my Shure SM7B! Love the product a lot, it has helped me remove so much noise due to the gain staging required for the microphone. Id recommend getting it from this seller!

Super outil pour la voix, belle finition et construction. Permet de préserver le gain de votre table et avec plus de clarté et définition. Me permet de passer plus facilement dans le mix tout en ayant plus de facilité à chanter car moins besoin de pousser la voix. Donc plus de nuances apportées au chant..

Ik heb deze besteld omdat ik niet weer één 19inch apparaat te kopen, want die heb ik al genoeg HI. Gewoon plug & play aansluiten zonder poes pas (kabels), en hij versterkt echt het microfoon geluid.
Echt een aanrader...klasse.

Deze amp heb ik voor de 2de keer gekocht en ik kan je zeggen dat het een topproduct is. Door deze micamp hoor je de microfoons beter wanneer de instrumenten in de kerk wat luider spelen.

Ik gebruik de fethead in combinatie met mijn Zoom H4n handheld recorder, voor podcasting. De dynamische XLR-microfoons die ik had aangesloten hadden niet genoeg gain. Inladen in een programma en handmatig het volume verhogen zorgde voor veel ruis. Door 2 fetheads tussen de microfoons en de recorder te plaatsen heb ik veel betere opnames. Heel blij mee. Let wel op: dit type preamp is voor dynamische microfoons (er bestaat ook een andere voor condensor mics). En je moet de phantom power op je recorder AAN zetten als je gaat opnemen.
