Designed according to more modern studio standards, the BAE Audio 1073MPF provides a line-in, so finished recordings can be fed through and given a sweet coat of analogue warmth, and this particular edition also includes an awesomely effective high-pass filter. After all, not all that much happens to the harmonics of most instruments below the 80Hz mark, so by filtering it out, you can clear some space and make way for deeper-diving elements like the bass and kick, and calm down any compressors you've set up further down the chain.
