New in iZotope Ozone 6 Advanced mastering software

The iZotope Ozone 6 houses equalizers that are modelled after classic hardware equalizers. They offer an improved Surgical Mode, which allows you to make extreme cuts with minimal slope. Have you heard of the bypass effect? Press the button and the difference in volume is dramatic. With Seamless Bypass, gain-matching is applied, so you can focus solely on the timbre. What's more, there are new exciter modes for those with a predisposition for vintage: triod and dual triode. These exciter modes allow you to emulate the famous vintage saturation for a more defined edge to the overall sound.

Adjusting the stereo width is an older feature, and you're probably familiar with its typical phase flaws. With the new Stereoize Control, however, you can increase the stereo image without phase mistakes, making it incredibly easy to paint a comprehensive tonal picture. Mastering engineers can tell you all about golden eardrums and about how easy it is to ruin a mix. Which is why, if you're not sure about the changes you've made, you can always fall back to the included presets, which naturally encompass all the new functions of Ozone 6.
