General

The German Meinl company has been a well-respected part of the drumming community for years now. Today, they offer a wide range of quality cymbals that cater to everyone, even beginning drummers on a budget. The HCS18C is a prime example of this. It's an 18-inch crash that is manufactured in properly high-tech fashion, with a brass alloy at its base. It looks great, so you won't have to be ashamed to use this great-sounding cymbal on stage.

HCS HCS18C crash

This HCS18C does everything you want a crash to do. It is the largest of the three HCS crashes and it offers a civilised sound that won't cut through your eardrums. It has a smooth attack and a medium sustain with a pleasantly complex spread. This cymbal will fit right in with most setups, especially if you use multiple HCS cymbals, and it will perform admirably in virtually any genre thanks to its expertly balanced sound.

Meinl HCS HCS18C Platillos crash

Meinl HCS HCS18C Platillos crash

Meinl HCS HCS18C Platillos crash
