All Byzance cymbals are made of B20 bronze, which produces a very consistent tone and ensures excellent durability. The B18EDTC is an Extra Dry Thin Crash with a raw finish that clearly shows off the extensive hammering that is part of the creation of this cymbal.

Meinl Byzance B18EDTC

Optically, the finish gives this cymbal a very weathered look, while its sound is very dark and has trashy overtones. The shimmering sound that many crashes produce has been pushed to the background, resulting in a dry, almost shrouded sound. Furthermore, the Extra Dry Thin Crash has a relatively soft response with a quick decay, which makes it an excellent choice for use as a second crash or accent cymbal in your kit. Ik was op zoek naar een extra crash bekken in de Byzance- serie . Aan de hand van de video en prijs, kwam ik op deze extra dry uitvoering . Klinkt heel goed bij de rest. Met een malet bespeeld doet hij denken aan een gong omdat de crash dan iets vertraagd op komt zetten. Heel gaaf! Nog geen spijt van gehad!

eerst wist ik niet goed of ik dit wel een goede crash zou vinden. nu ik hem heb geprobeerd is het dus een geweldig bekken!! echt, je moet hem eens uitproberen! het zal je verbazen hoe vet hij eigenlijk klinkt.

het is gewoon een hele speciale bekken die niet te lang doorklinkt en die je zelfs als crash-ride kunt gebruiken! en hij ziet er zooooo vet uit
