Ik vind het reverb-effect oncontroleerbaar. Het lijkt wel of je opstijgt en daarbij lijkt de power af en toe weg te vallen, ook in uitgeschakelde toestand. Dit heeft als resultaat dat ik het pedaal sowieso niet tussen mijn andere effecten kan plaatsen op mijn pedalboard. Het geluidsvolume zakt dan weg en komt na verloop van tijd weer terug. Ik heb een enkele adapter, daisy-chain en 9v batterij geprobeerd. Zonde van het geld.

Qua prijs natuurlijk geweldig, maar wat mij betreft uiteindelijk toch duurkoop; zodra je de pedaal inschakelt komt er behoorlijk wat ruis mee. Afhankelijk van de versterker die je gebruikt en je eigen 'ruisgevoeligheid' is dat hinderlijk of acceptabel. Ik ga toch liever voor een pedaal met (veel) minder ruis.

Firstly, the Bax price is fantastic value. Reverb pedals are a very personal preference but the simplicity of this suits me perfectly. Great range within the particular sound that TC Electronic has identified. The selector switch is a little fiddly but its design makes it less susceptible to damage. The whole pedal is easy to use and rugged - it should withstand plenty of gig use.

Ik gebruik deze voeding thuis i.s.m. een Vox stomplab 1G. Helaas heb ik geconstateerd dat deze soms uitvalt op de voeding. Geen last van op de 9V batterij. Kan nergens vinden hoeveel Ah deze Vox vebruikt, zodat ik dan evt. een zwaardere voeding kan kopen.

TC Electronic Skysurfer Reverb pedal

I have a few other pedals by TC Electronic and know that you get great pedals when you buy anything from them. This is the first Reverb pedal I have bought and I was not disappointed!

Very easy to use reverb with three knobs for Reverb, Tone and Mix. It has a Spring, Plate and Hall settings which are easily changed with the flip on a switch on the front. Really fattens the of your guitar if you just put it on lightly or if you want to go for a more ambient sound then max out the mix knob and it sounds as if its coming from a long way off!



Pros: Rugged metal inclosure.

Top mounted jacks.

Easy controls.

Looks great!



Cons: Could be a little smaller but still fits very well on my pedal board.

Other than the size I really have no complaints.



If you're looking for your first reverb pedal then I would highly recommend this to any one that asks. Keep up the great work TC!

great reverb, and fantastic price!

on full whack can get a bit cavernous, but has some fantastic sounds in it and easy to get a nice subtle reverb.

I'm using it on a little fender frontman amp that doesn't have built in reverb and really makes a basic amp sound nice.

i was a bit surprised by the size- it's a bit bigger than a standard pedal, which is not obvious from the pics

and the case is folded metal rather than the usual cast metal box, but quality seems ok (maybe the select switch could be more sturdy)

would definitely recommend!
